WATER CUBE

WaterCube is a water based-propulsion system designed for Cubesats and Smallsats. It is cheap, small, reliable and easy to test and integrate.
This plug-and-play propulsion unit has incredible features:
  • UNPRESSURIZED WATER PROPELLANT: green, sustainable and safe choice.
  • MINIATURIZED AND LIGHTWEIGHT: primary propulsion for CubeSat > 2U, primary or secondary propulsion for Smallsats.
  • SIMPLE AND MODULAR: off-the-shelf components and 3D printing allows serial production, modularity and short delivery time.
  • GREAT PERFORMANCE: allows Cubesats and Smallsats to perform all the needed orbital maneuvers for a variety of missions.
PERFORMANCE FEATURES:
Thrust: 4 mN
Specific Impulse > 90 s
Power (Peak): 23 W
Power (Average): 20 W
Power (Idle) < 1 W
Wet Mass: 0.8 - 1.8 kg (depending on configuration)
Dimensions: 0.6U - up to 1.6U (depending on configuration)
Total impulse: 200 - 1000 Ns (depending on configuration)

Use cases:

De-orbiting

Collision avoidance

Orbit maintenance

Formation flight

For Smallsats only:
Attitude control and proximity operations
